Right at the border with Sudan, the Chadians put up large refugeecamps for refugees from Darfur. Many of them are children who became orphaned during the killings in their homelands. It is SOS Childrens Villages, the worlds largest privatfunded childcare organization, that started psycho-social programmes for heavily traumatized children in one of the camps.November 2008
